Ronin Co-Founder Jihoz Details Ecosystem Milestones, Confirms Ethereum Return in May

Ronin Network co-founder jihoz_axie has provided a sweeping update on the ecosystem's performance, highlighting strong user acquisition and upcoming infrastructure changes.
Key metrics shared include 16,000 new registrations for Atia's Legacy since the start of playtest 2, significant volume from Angry Dynomites' in-game DEX operating on the App Store, and the upcoming launch of Cambria Genesis. jihoz_axie also noted that Pixels is experimenting with AI game economists, and Sabong (also known as Chicken Saga) is demonstrating Filipino game development talent.
Most notably, jihoz_axie confirmed that Ronin is returning to Ethereum in May. This migration represents a strategic shift for the gaming-focused sidechain, which originally forked from Ethereum in 2021 to provide lower fees and faster transactions for Axie Infinity and other Web3 games.
The update comes as the broader gaming ecosystem on Ronin continues to expand beyond its Axie Infinity roots, with multiple titles now generating on-chain activity through different game mechanics and distribution channels.
