0xDith, founder of Gigaverse, confirmed on April 21 that an internal playtest is on the horizon to finalize the default settings for gigling races ahead of the feature's v1 launch.
Once the playtest concludes and settings are locked, 0xDith says the team will begin sharing more details about how gigling races work and move toward making the feature launch-ready.
About Gigaverse
Gigaverse is one of the most active gaming projects on the Abstract blockchain, boasting over 75,000 players and more than $10 million in marketplace volume. 0xDith co-founded the project alongside GLHFers, drawing on his background as a former Head of Business Development at Proof of Play (Pirate Nation) and his experience at Stripe.
Gigling races represent a new gameplay mechanic within the Gigaverse ecosystem. Specific details about the mode have not yet been publicly disclosed, but 0xDith's announcement signals the project is in active pre-launch testing.
Followers should watch 0xDith's account for further updates as playtest results come in and the team prepares to go public with how the system works.
