jihoz_axie, co-founder of Axie Infinity and the Ronin Network, shared a report from caladanxyz analyzing the crypto gaming landscape. The report notes that despite massive capital raised by projects attempting to challenge Axie Infinity, 93% have failed and ceased operations.

However, the report identifies two standout projects that are succeeding: playcambria and pixels_online. Jihoz points out that these survivors share a common thread — they are built on @Ronin_Network.

"The meaningful survivors have one thing in common. That thing is called Ronin Network," Jihoz wrote.

Ronin is an Ethereum-linked sidechain designed specifically for gaming, developed by Sky Mavis, the studio behind Axie Infinity. The network has become a hub for Web3 gaming, hosting titles like Pixels, a farming MMO, and Cambria, a competitive strategy game.

Jihoz's comments come amid growing competition in the blockchain gaming space, with numerous projects raising significant funding to capture market share. The report's findings suggest that network effects and established ecosystems may be critical to long-term survival in the sector.
