Ronin Network co-founder jihoz_axie has confirmed that users and players do not need to take any action for the upcoming Ronin chain migration.
In a statement on April 23, Jihoz clarified that no steps are required from users, including unstaking their RON tokens. The assurance came after some community members reached out wondering if they needed to prepare for the transition.
"As a user/player, there's nothing required from your end for the migration! You don't even need to unstake your RON," Jihoz wrote, adding, "Sit back. Relax. And enjoy the journey home."
The migration, which moves the Ronin chain from its current architecture, is designed to be seamless for end users. This follows Ronin's ongoing development as a gaming-focused blockchain, home to Axie Infinity and other Web3 games.
Jihoz, co-founder of Sky Mavis and a key figure in player-owned economies, has been vocal about making blockchain gaming accessible. The no-action migration aligns with that philosophy, reducing friction for players.
No timeline for the migration's completion was provided in the update.
