Jihoz Details Methodology for Ronin's Proof of Development System

jihoz_axie, co-founder of axieinfinity and the ronin_network, has shared the methodology behind the first draft of the Proof of Development (POD) system, a mechanism aimed at incentivizing builders who contribute tangible value to the Ronin ecosystem and RON token.

The POD system's initial draft is being developed using a four-pronged approach:

1. Economic Analysis: The team is running advanced economic models to identify which metrics most strongly correlate with the RON price.

2. First Principles: The design is rooted in fundamental beliefs about what materially drives long-term success for Ronin.

3. Game Resistance: The system prioritizes metrics that are easily trackable but relatively difficult or expensive (in RON) to manipulate.

4. Sanity Check: The top projects identified by the model are manually reviewed to ensure the system isn't overfitting or making illogical choices.

Jihoz emphasized that the model will be refined over time. The core goal is to support builders who deliver genuine value to Ronin and RON, while ignoring those who don't. This update follows the broader rollout of the POD framework, which was previously announced as part of Ronin's roadmap to align incentives with ecosystem contributors.
