Fugz founder @yotdog69 has provided a migration update, revealing that 78% of the Fugz collection migrated from Abstract to Ethereum on day one—one of the largest manual migrations ever executed in the NFT space.
According to the update posted on May 4, 2026, 4,543 of the total 5,555 Fugz NFTs are now held on Ethereum, with additional transfers still in the queue. Since the initial migration wave, another 2% of holders have moved their assets.
"GG to all holders that were active and ready to go," yotdog69 stated, adding that the team is committed to ensuring no Fugz are left behind.
Fugz is a character collective on Abstract that grants holders full commercial IP rights and storytelling ownership—a departure from traditional PFP projects where the project retains commercial control. The migration to Ethereum represents a significant milestone for the project, which has positioned itself as a creator-first initiative empowering holders with real economic and creative agency.
The update signals strong community engagement and successful execution of a complex manual migration process, with the team continuing to process remaining transfers.
